I try and do as much designing as possible, but as you know by now I can't keep away from the hands-on building. So when I was approached to design AND build a full bed frame and headboard, along with a second headboard, I couldn't say no. Sticking with the client's (and my) theme of reclaimed and 'collected' items from different periods, I used pallet wood set inside a wooden frame to make the decorative parts stand out a bit more, and brought everything together by staining and distressing the wood frames to give it the effect of age. I hope you all like this project as much as I do!
